How does ORGACOM work?

print this article

Orgacom uses the same method for every project. After an initial meeting with decision makers and others involved a written explanation of the methods, time frames and estimated costs is presented. If interested the organization invites Orgacom to continue on the following steps:

Interviews
In the beginning of a Orgacom project, Elias and Teike interview the employees and management of the participating organization.

Artists-in-residence
After the interviews, Orgacom becomes the artists-in-residence. In this period Elias en Teike work together to formulate nine to twelve proposals for the art work. Then at their convenience employees and management are expected to offer feedback on the proposals.

Selection
A maximum of ten working days after the artists in residence period, the proposals are presented and a selection determining the three 'favorite art works' is made.

Estimate of one or more of the art works
Orgacom researches the price and feasibility of the three selected proposals. The findings are presented in a 'realization estimate'. The management of the organization then instructs Orgacom to realize one or more of the proposals.

Realization
Orgacom realizes one or more of the proposals. It is possible that various outside specialists may be required.

Unveiling of the art work and evaluation of the project
The artwork that results from the interviews and the artists' time in residence, gives an impression of the company's culture (or specific aspects of that culture). An important aspect of the Orgacom project is making employees and management conscious of what values play an important role in their organization. Therefore the artists discuss with those involved the general concepts behind the design.
